Good Afternoon Blaze Families,

Tryout Season is approaching fast, and we wanted to provide an update on where we stand as an Organization. After 40 YEARS, we are sadly announcing that Grand Rapids Blaze Softball will be shutting down at the completion of our current summer season. Extremely sparse numbers registered for tryouts, coupled with that fact of lack of interested coaches and volunteers, we made this decision unanimously as a Board. We would like to Thank each and every player and families for being a part of the BLAZE FAMILY. We are proud of the opportunity we had to give players the opportunities they have been given on and off the field. We have become the small fish in a big pond of large travel organizations here in Grand Rapids, and wish all of you the best of luck in your softball journey. Keep playing a Game You Love, for as long as you can!!!
